All right, lisa, thank you. What School Looks Like for bay area students of all ages is coming into sharper focus. Districts are detailing their plans for fall. But the push to bring kids back to classrooms is getting push back from many teachers. The debate over education is so important it is a key focus of our efforts to build a better bay area. Kate larson heard from two of the Largest School districts in the bay area, oakland and San Francisco about what they are planning this fall. Reporter in a presentation San Francisco Unified School District laid out a plan for the fall. While staff has not yet agreed the district is recommending almost all students distance learn when School Starts on august 17th. Small groups of priority students may be able to do inperson school. And once data suggests its safe a gradual return to a hybrid distance and inperson plan would begin.
