Abdul Rahman Baba may have enjoyed a fruitful half-season loan stint with PAOK Thessaloniki, but the Greek giants decided against signing him permanently due to the financials involved. So the Ghana international is back training with Chelsea at the moment, but he’s said to be on the lookout for a move to a top European league and such an opportunity just may have presented itself.
According to kicker and Ghana SoccerNet, Baba’s former club, Augsburg are interested in pursuing a loan deal. Their current left backs, Iago and Mads Pedersen are both injured, and they want Baba to fill in. Greek side Olympiacos Piraeus are also said to be interested, but the 27-year-old seemingly would prefer a move to the Bundesliga.
