WALDOBORO In a Busline League showdown Thursday, May 6 in Waldoboro, the Medomak eighth grade softball team earned a dominating victory at home against Oceanside.
The host Riverhawks were able to overpower the Mariners defensively to collect a 15-1 victory.
After each inning, Medomak Valley held advantages of 5-0, 6-1, 9-1, 15-1 and 15-1.
The contest began with a trio of strikeouts for Medomak defensively, with Kytana Williamson pitching, before Williamson and Audrey Jackson each singled. Skylar Hills drove both runners in with a double. Erica Waite reached base on a walk with the bases loaded, and Maddy Wilshire reached base on a fielder’s choice.
