A proposed liquor store in south Auckland has been knocked back over concerns it was a “front” for a previous applicant who had applied for a licence on the same site. The Auckland District Licensing Committee has stopped HS Judge Enterprises, run by Sukhvir Singh and Gurpreet Kaur, from setting up a liquor shop on Vine St in Māngere East. The committee cited vague responses to questions and a poorly-researched application.
