A buzzer-beater was all that stood between Avondale overcoming a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's D1 district semifinal against Clarkston.
Avondale all but erased Oxford's early 15-point lead by the end of the third, tying it up less than a minute into the final quarter, and holding on to win, 60-56, winning the OAA Blue title outright, refusing to share their crown.
