A video has emerged of a Lincolnshire Police officer allegedly assaulting a man at the roadside on the A46, with the incident being investigated by the force. The incident happened on the A46 between Newark and Lincoln around 8pm-9pm on Wednesday, May 26, and it was captured on a phone camera by a vehicle passenger. The video shows tree surgeon Shane, who wishes to keep his surname anonymous while legal proceedings are ongoing, after he saw a man driving in a black Ford allegedly obstructing the lane on the dual carriageway, whilst reportedly using his phone.

GS Hughes Limited and Balderton firm Moto101 Ltd fined total of £15,000 in court case brought by Environment Agency

 | Updated: 11:24, 08 March 2021 Two companies have been fined more than £15,000 for breaching environment permits by dumping more than twenty times the permitted amount of earth at an off-road motorcycle track. Ryan Wilson, 29, of Marston Close, Balderton, sole director of Moto101 Ltd, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Magistrates Court to a charge of operating a waste facility without an environmental permit. Waste haulier GS Hughes Ltd, of Newark Road, Aubourn, pleaded guilty at the same hearing to an offence of depositing waste at the Moto101 site when no environmental permit was in force. Fines have been issued by the Environment Agency after earth was dumped at a motorcycle track near Gonerby Moor. (44949281)
