Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 107 and the city of Hamilton have ratified a 'strong tentative agreement,' averting any further labour disruptions.
The rejection of the contract must be made the starting point for an organized rebellion against the ATU leadership through the building of rank-and-file committees.
Members of ATU Local 107, representing some 850 transit workers including drivers, overwhelmingly voted in favour of a strike should an agreement with the city not be reached.
