GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) â Cody Alan Arnett was found guilty Tuesday for the 2018 rape of a Georgetown College student.
Arnett, 35, took the stand in his own defense Tuesday, saying he had consensual sex with the victim. That contradicts what she described during her emotional testimony.
The victim told the jury she never met Arnett before the night he is accused of repeatedly raping her at knife-point inside her campus apartment after entering an unlocked door.
Trying to hold back tears she described how she got Arnett to stop.

Cody Alan Arnett, 35, is charged with rape in connection to an incident police said happened in September of 2018 inside an on-campus apartment.
Arnett entered an apartment through an unlocked door and raped a woman who lived there at knife-point, according to officers.
