BOSTON The 21-year-old Braintree man accused of throwing a water bottle at Kyrie Iriving after a Boston Celtics game was ordered to stay away from TD Garden at his arraignment Wednesday morning at Boston Municipal Court.
Cole Buckley pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was released on $500 bail and is scheduled to return for a pre-trial hearing Aug. 5.

Boston Mayor Kim Janey on Thursday unveiled a five-part plan to ensure public safety this summer, saying a peaceful city is vital for residents to heal from the trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a news conference, Janey said that, even though crime is down by about 20% compared to last year, the city is planning to boost services to make sure people stay safe during the summer months.

A man who has been charged with murdering his wife and another woman inside their Taft Street apartment did so in front of two young children who led Boston Police to the dying women on Sunday afternoon, according to a Suffolk County prosecutor.

Boston Nanny Accused of Possessing, Distributing Child Pornography

A woman in Boston was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges and police are asking citizens who believe they or their family was a victim of the suspect to contact them.
“The woman, 36-year-old Stephanie Lak of Roxbury, broke down in court as prosecutors said that she, a longtime nanny, possessed and distributed child pornography,” NBC Boston reported.
A prosecutor stated it was clear the suspect had access to kids and “has a long history of being a nanny and babysitter.”
