City Attorney John Paul Coonrod said the library was built in 1910 and has not been expanded. It has outgrown the available space. “It gets very cramped in there, so they could benefit from more room,” he said. “We are looking at adding more space for the patrons especially for children who during non-COVID times are coming for story hour or different programs. It can get very crowded, I’ve heard.”
