COVID-19 vaccination camp held

May 26, 2021 Rawalpindi:Attock Hospital (Pvt) Limited organised a COVID-19 vaccination camp in collaboration with NCOC and District Health Authority, press release. Attock Group has always been at the forefront of ensuring the wellbeing of its employees as well as private patients who are in need of medical care. According to Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar, chief medical officer, Attock Hospital, we are thankful to NCOC, District Health Authority Rawalpindi and Attock Refinery Limited for their contribution and dedication for this noble cause to protect people from the deadly virus. The basic objective of the said activity was to provide COVID-19 vaccination facility to the residents of Morgah, Kotha Kalan and adjacent community. The outcome of vaccination camp was extremely encouraging, more than 900 people were inoculated. Recipients were also requested to keep strict adherence to the Government’s SOPs in this regard.

PHOTO: ONLINE ISLAMABAD: Continuing with the alarming rise, the federal capital has reported 384 new coronavirus cases in a day, which is the highest single-day spike in three months, a spokesperson for the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said on Friday. As many as 350 cases were reported on Thursday which was also the highest figure during the last two months while 253 cases were reported on Wednesday.

The areas sealed in Rawalpindi are: Street 4 Sadiqabad, Allama Iqbal Colony, Azizabad and Dhoke Paracha. Under the micro-smart lockdown, localities such as one building with multiple units or small neighbourhoods would be sealed. Deputy Commissioner retired Capt Anwarul Haq said the home department had issued a notification under which the four localities were sealed for two weeks.
