For the russian government did not happen, at least to my knowledge, and not with me. We now know, of course, that neither of these statements is true. Shortly after the attorney general made the first comment, Washington Post reported that he met with the Russian Ambassador at least twice during the campaign. In the past month weve also learned that the attorney general must have been very much aware of a continuing exchange of information between the Trump Campaign and the russian government. And charging documents unsealed last month, George Papadopoulos, a foreignpolicy advisor to the Trump Campaign, admits to Extensive Communications with russian contacts. At a march 31, 2016, meeting of the campaigns National Security advisory committee, attended by candidate trump, and chaired by senator sessions, mr. Leading the department of justice, an agency that by its very nature is prone to controversy because of the publics varied opinions on what it seeks to what it means to seek and obtain justice. However, you clearly understand that the department you lead must have the confidence of the American People even when your decisions are not always well received. Ms. Lynch failed to

Chairman of the board and my friend, senator tom daschle. To [applause] let me just say what a fantastic day this has been. Sen. Daschle we gather at an important time, a time when our country is facing one of the most challenging moments in history. A time when the pillars of our democratic republic are being tested. But the American People increasingly are refusing to sit idly by. They are reacting, they are responding, and yes, they are resisting. [applause] so this afternoon, we want to talk about the energy out there and how that energy is actually affecting policy in washington and across the country.
