The Review: Audio: The audio presentation for this series brings us a pretty standard action design here as we get the original Japanese language in stereo while the English dub gets the 5.1 boost, both of which are encoded using the Dolby TrueHD lossless codec. (Toei Company) Facebook Share “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” reportedly the “final” film of the “Evangelion” anime series has had its release date pushed back once more to next month. The movie was initially supposed to be released in Japan in June of last year. However, concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak have consistently pushed the premiere back. Now it appears it will, at last, be hitting screens. Anime News Network reports how this last installment of the “Evangelion” film franchise will run for approximately 155 minutes. Exclusive leaflets designed by the series’ chief animation director, Atsushi Nishigori, will also be released to accompany this new release date.
