KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The Christmas Charity Tree 2014 is now beautifully lit up in the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The lighting ceremony was performed on December 4 by the hotel’s General Manager, Manfred Weber, assisted by the parents of the 10 children with severe heart ailments who will benefit from the funds raised from the tree.
Witnessing this event were over 100 disadvantaged children from Tasputra Perkim and Pusat Penjagaan Kanak Kanak Cacat Taman Megah, children from the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and hotel guests.
