Bam Construct appoints new Scottish boss
Bam Construct has promoted Jim Ward to director of its Scottish division.
Ward will take over from Bruce Dickinson, who has moved into a broader role at Royal Bam Group.
The new boss of the Scottish business has been with Bam Construct for 40 years and worked on flagship schemes in the region including the V&A Dundee and Bam’s current Atlantic Square scheme. He was serving as a construction director before his promotion to a regional director position.
Commenting on his appointment, Ward said: “I am privileged to be leading Bam Construction in Scotland. We have a fantastic business here with well-established roots, a very capable supply chain, and remarkable clients. He added: “This industry and our business possess amazing talent. I am keen to see it develop even further and help us be the best we can. In doing so, Bam will make a truly positive contribution to our clients, our communities and our people.”
