reporter: well, martin and whitney, good morning from a very busy hartsfield national airport. the race is on to try to get home for christmas. it s been a spectacularly busy morning here at hartsfield international airport. this is the line where folks have to drop their bags. experience today might be differing, at least 100 flights out of hartsfield international airport have been cancelled. a majority of those flights are going to upstate new york, illinois, as well as texas. there are two flights going out to california that have also been cancelled. the numbers nationwide, not a whole lot better. well over 1500 flights have been cancelled across the u.s. and about 1200 flights delayed.
