The Bristol Bay Native Corporation is offering free online classes for people to start learning the region’s Native languages. The series started at the beginning of this month, and people can also sign up for song and dance classes.
Dena'ina and Yup'ik online language classes run through early February. Alutiiq classes ended earlier this month. The classes are 30 minutes, once a week and are open to anyone. People can also take song and dance classes.
