RAPID Covid-19 tests will enable businesses and universities to get back in action soon, according to a top expert.
Trinity Professor of Experimental Immunology, Kingston Mills, was one of the six members of a group appointed by Minister of Health Stephen Donnelly to make a report on rapid antigen testing.

Currently, most Covid-19 cases are diagnosed with PCR tests, which are considered the gold standard for detecting the virus.
But rapid antigen tests are simpler and quicker and are already being used in some meat processing plants and universities to screen people for the virus.
