Hate-laden remarks bombarded the Atherton City Council meeting Wednesday night, Sept. 20, in what apparently is part of a trolling effort by extremists targeting public forums across the country.
A temporary pickleball court may be coming to Atherton s Holbrook-Palmer Park for a six-month trial after getting overwhelming support in town survey of residents.
Atherton City Council discussed and voted on which properties in town would be most suitable for multi-family housing developments at a July 19 meeting.
The older children s playground in Holbrook-Palmer Park is temporarily closed for almost $70,000 in repairs. The work should be done by the beginning of summer, said City Manager George Rodericks.
