good evening. thanks so much for joining. us we are learning the names of some of the top republicans who have testified in multiple investigations involving the former president both in the federal case involving the misuse of classified documents and also the investigation in georgia into the former presidents attempt to overturn the election results there. cnn sarah murray joins us now with the details. so sarah, let s start with the fulton county georgia investigation. who has testified? well, anderson, we have learned that there are two prominent witnesses who have testified before the grand jury, and one of them is former georgia senator kelly lafleur. the other one is former white house lawyer pat cipollone. both of these are big gets for the district attorney in georgia. it gives you an indication of how wide-ranging the investigation is. whether with testimony to the federal grand jury investigating the mar-a-lago documents? we are learning this evening my co

document comes out, it will change everything that we know about the search of mar-a-lago. now, there are three relevant documents here, the first two, the search warrant and the property received, those are out in the public. we ve seen those. just for the sake of comparison, the search warrant that is three pages. it s mostly a form you fill out it tells us where the fbi wanted to search and the criminal laws the doj is looking at. it the property seized. that s also three pages. most of those entries just say box of documents. but the affidavit, the affidavit is a game-changer. this is a narrative document that the prosecutor has to write out. i have written more of these than i can even count. they re dozens of pages wouldn t at all surprise me if this were 50 to 100 pages. they list probable cause, you have to list specific evidence. you bring it over to the judge. we know the judge in this case reviewed and approved it. just to make an analogy to prove it. back when w
lives? reporter: ryan, in the report it does mention a few lines about why officer waited. it states they were waiting for the keys. they were waiting for more equipment. but let me take you through it because there are very telling details we did not know before reading this report. according to this report chief pete arredondo actually wrote the active shooter policy. he wrote in himself as the incident commander but, according to this report, he didn t take on that role on that ill-fated day. it says that he not only didn t take the role, he didn t transfer command of the scene to any other officer which, according to this report, could have been done in this case in this jurisdiction. now the report is much broader than this. it does not just point the finger at arredondo. it also says that there were hundreds of police officers who responded to the scene, and it points out those trained police officers then did not question that command. they didn t question that there
