Straight spots of the beltway. Its going ton throughout the weekend. Alternating lane closures on the inner and outer loop. We actually had three lanes closed. That was over at 7 00 this morning. What you are going to see are one and two lane closures as you go through this area. Youll start to see back ups around central avenue, at least in one direction and probably ritchie marlboro in the other. This is whats happening because of concrete repairs going on on the beltway. Not a lot of concrete here, but overpasses. This is a heavily traveled area. This is a heavily stressed section of the beltway. You might see how light traffic seems these days. A lot of people on vacation and school is out. Thats when the crews take the opportunity to do much needed repairs. It may cause hardship now, but youll thank them in september on your daily commute. Told his roommate at the house over my shoulder that he couldnt sleep. He wanted to go off for a walk. So he set off down this street. Now a week later we know where he went and he didnt get very far. The morning after larry shaddy walked away from this house he rents with five other vietnam vets, his roommate called the owner worried. The first thing we said to him was you should have called us at 1 00 in the morning because that was very unusual for larry to go for a walk. Reporter they searched high and low for the 66year old with Chronic Health problems. As the days went by we became less and less hopeful. Reporter then this afternoon a pedestrian noticed a man trapped beneath a tree in that ravine and called for help. We arrived on location and found the man late 60s who apparently had fallen or slid down this embankment and underneath a tree that had already fallen.
