Chris Jericho Suffers Legitimate Injury After Blood And Guts Match Posted By: Dustin on May 13, 2021 Chris Jericho is dealing with an elbow injury at this time. Previous reports stated that no one from The Inner Circle or The Pinnacle suffered any injuries during the Blood and Guts match. Jericho was going to be pulled off of AEW programming for for 1-2 weeks to sell that big cage bump from the finish to the match. He ended up appearing on AEW TV this week with his left elbow taped up and in a brace. The Wrestling Observer is reporting this is a legit injury and not a part of the storyline.

There has been some talk internally about pushing Damien Priest much further and moving soon to be returning Aleister Black from Friday Night SmackDown to Monday Night RAW. There has been backstage chatter recently that the RAW roster needs some fresh faces. Two ideas I’ve heard talked about are Damien Priest getting a big opportunity & Aleister Black being moving over. Orton & AJ having tag team roles have left the top a bit weak.

News On The MLW Library Being Removed From YouTube

You may have noticed large chunks of the MLW video library have been taken down from YouTube. Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that part of the MLW library has been removed from YouTube as the company is attempted to put together a rights deal for its video library. It remains to be seen how many episodes will stay online and how much flexibility MLW can get with a new deal.

Bea Priestley is expected to sign a deal with WWE soon. As reported a few weeks ago, Priestley finished up with Stardom which she has been a part of since 2017. She decided not to re-sign with them and NJPW.  There was some speculation Priestley would join AEW as she did some work for them in 2020 but she was released due to the COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions. AEW Has Been In Contact With Recently Released WWE Superstar Andrade Posted By: Ben Jordan Kerin on May 14, 2021 As you probably would have expected, All Elite Wrestling and Andrade have reported has some talks since his departure from WWE. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted there have been talks between Andrade and AEW, but it s unclear where both sides sit in terms of negotiations. Andrade was released from his WWE contract on March 21, 2021, and does not have 90-day non-compete clause. He has been taking bookings since his departure.
