The challenges of home schooling have been felt by families throughout the pandemic but Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa are alleviating that pressure by providing local schools with additional laptops so pupils can log on for lessons.
Brighton have pledged £25,000 to the club s official charity Albion in the Community and will donate over 100 laptops to local schools in key areas.
Albion in the Community are providing a wide-ranging online and offline programme in support of local schools and teachers, and will manage the rollout of laptops, working with the schools in key areas that urgently need the additional support.

At a time when friends and family are being kept apart because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Aston Villa Foundation is helping keep people safely connected with the launch of their TeamWork project.
Aiming to bring Villa fans and the wider community together, TeamWork supports mental health and wellbeing by providing online and in-person activities and challenges.
TeamWork, which has been funded by the Premier League and the Professional Footballers Association, provides virtual meet-ups to share resources and inspire communication.
The project will also work alongside existing fan-led initiatives including the Villa Running Club to encourage activities such as running, walking and cycling both now and in the future.
