A potentially dangerous asteroid almost as long as three football fields will pass less than two million miles from the Earth on Friday, NASA s Jet Propulsion Laboratory Asteroid Watch reported on Wednesday.
Earth will witness a series of asteroids fly pasts starting 29 January, with one asteroid the size of a FIFA-accredited stadium. The largest of the five, Asteroid 2008 OS7, will zoom past Earth on 2 February at a distance of 1.77 million miles.
