The Village of West Salem is set to have their board meeting this evening at 6:30. Besides the standard committee reports, the village board has 15 items under new business for discussion. Under resolutions on new business, the board will discuss or determine the winning bid for the south lagoon project, a P.T.O. Fish Fry, the West Salem Firemen's Association Pork Chop Dinner, the annual Easter egg hunt presented by the West Salem Development Association, and amendments to the chapter 30 public safety, article 3 fire departments, section 12 MABAS Agreement. Under new ordinances, officials are working on the abatement for the waterworks bond payment schedule, discussing water procedures and payments, looking at amendments to the cities nuisance and animal ordinances, looking into making equipment purchases for the police and fire departments, looking into or appoint an administrator and or assistant administrator of the village's Simple IRA Plan, look to appoint Steve Thomson
