Ljubljana – The Economy Ministry supports the proposal from hotel operator representatives that the limit for the number of rooms that may be open in an individual establishment is not expressed in the absolute number of 30 units but as a percentage. It hopes it will get relevant approval from the expert advisory group next week.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday about the proposal from the Association of Hotel Operators, State Secretary Simon Zajc said that it “makes sense” and added that he was optimistic about the advisory group approving it next week.
This comes after the government permitted the opening of up to 30 rooms in accommodation facilities, regardless of their size, under the condition that guests produce a negative coronavirus test or a certificate of convalescence or vaccination.
