Tallinn to Host 2022 ISPCAN Congress 16 December 2020
Tallinn, Estonia has won the right to host the annual European Congress of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect (ISPCAN).
The event, which is expected to draw 600 international delegates to the city, will be held in June 2022.
The 4-day congress Child Protection for the Most Vulnerable Children and Families“ will focus on mental health and disorders, prisoners, aspects of sexual and other abuse, domestic violence, Child Protection for Children of Incarcerated (and Addicted) Parents, cross-border cooperation and the implementation of digital services in the field. NORTHFIELD, Vt. Norwich University’s Center for Global Resilience and Security (CGRS) named Dr. John R. Mullin to its advisory board.
His three-year term began Oct. 20.
Mullin is emeritus professor of regional planning in the University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning Department, associate director of its Center for Economic Development and former dean of its Graduate School. His research and professional interests focus on industrial revitalization, port development and downtown planning.
Mullin, a senior Fulbright scholar, has written or edited more than 100 book chapters, book reviews, technical reports, journal articles and conference proceedings. He is a retired U.S. Army National Guard brigadier general.
