NTEA Forms Fleet Advisory Council : CEG

Thu January 14, 2021 - National Edition NTEA NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry announced the formation of the Fleet Advisory Council, composed of innovative and forward-thinking fleet leaders who will provide perspective and guidance on Association resources for the work truck community. NTEA continues to increase its efforts to keep the fleet management community informed on the latest trends in products, alternative fuels, and regulations impacting the design and specification of commercial vehicles, said Fleet Advisory Council Chair Tony Orta. I am looking forward to working with such a respected group of fleet managers as we support the association in this endeavor.

NTEA Reduces Greenhouse Gas Emissions with New Climate Change Policy NTEA announced its Board of Directors adopted a climate change policy that continues the commitment in facilitating productive use of alternative fuels and advanced technologies for commercial vehicles reducing greenhouse gas emissions. January 6, 2021 NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry NTEA  The Association for the Work Truck Industry  adopted a climate change policy that continues the association’s commitment to facilitating productive use of alternative fuels and advanced technologies for commercial vehicles. The policy explains the work truck industry is competing to become a positive force in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Further, it provides NTEA the opportunity to educate the public, regulators and legislators about how the industry is already putting in place solutions to society’s environmental concerns.

2021 Construction Trade Show & Conference Updates What’s happening next for industry events National Pavement Expo & Conference At press time, the National Pavement Expo and Conference issued a statement saying the showrunners planned to proceed with the in-person trade show and conference in Nashville, Tennessee, on Jan. 20-23, 2021. The statement also said, “The health, safety and well-being of every attendee, exhibitor, speaker and staff is our number one priority. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 and its potential impact on plans to host National Pavement Expo and Conference. Should the in-person event not be able to take place, we are looking at a virtual exhibit hall and conference experience to meet the needs of all industry stakeholders.
