The Starlight Room will officially open to the public on Saturday, May 20, with a concert featuring Fire in the Attic, a power-rock trio from Grand Haven.
Downtown Allegan’s Griswold Auditorium is welcoming back audience members for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The auditorium has announced two upcoming events.
The annual Food Truck event is scheduled in Kentwood. The Kick-off to Summer Food Truck Festival will take place Saturday, June 19 in the parking lot of the Kent District Library – Kentwood Branch.

ALLEGAN Rollin on the River will return to downtown Allegan in 2021.
The free summer concert series will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 11, and continue weekly until Friday, Aug. 27. Each concert spans two hours at Riverfront Park.
Returning performers at the series, which was canceled amid COVID regulations in 2020, include Asamu Johnson and the Associates of the Blues, Guitar Up and Hollywood Makeout. Bands new to Allegan include The Bootstrap Boys, Modern Adventures and The Hacky Turtles.
With the creation of downtown Allegan s new social district, alcoholic beverages may be purchased at participating establishments and enjoyed throughout the designated area which includes Riverfront Park. Two food services along the riverfront will offer window service.

ALLEGAN, Mich. â Rollinâ on the River will return to downtown Allegan this summer, according to a news release Friday.
The free summer concert series begins Friday, June 11 and continues for every week for 12 weeks until Friday, Aug. 27.
