Lake 5-foot-11 senior forward Hayley St. John has taken on a different role this year, and she is welcoming it. Last year, St. John led the Flyers in scoring, averaging 15.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.1 assists. She was first team All-District 7, second team All-Northern Buckeye Conference, and third team Associated Press Northwest District. This year she occasionally takes a back seat to her teammates, scoring wise only. Skill-wise, she is at the top of her game. This year, she is averaging 13 points, is shooting 45.1 percent from inside the arc, and is at about eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two deflections per game.
