Two vacancies on the Third Judicial Circuit have been filled. Angela Donohoo of Bethalto and Ronald Motil of Maryville were recently approved by the Circuit Judges of the district as new associate judges serving Madison and Bond Counties. The vacancies were created upon the election of former Associate Judge Steve Stobbs to the circuit bench and the resignation of Associate Judge John Julian.
Donohoo has been practicing law for 18 years in her own practice, Levo-Donohoo, in Troy. She is a past president of the Madison County Bar Association, is a board member of Hope Rescues and is a former president of the Board of the Metro East Humane Society. Motil is a longtime attorney in the county and is also a past president of the Madison County Bar Association, as well as the Tri-City Bar Association.
