Sevier County High School principal Stephanie Huskey is transferring to the central office, Parton said, where sheâll be the director of personnel and health services starting Jan. 4.
In addition to working in human resources and teacher licensure, she will assist in contact tracing and quarantine orders for students and faculty.
Dustin Huffaker, who had been serving as principal at New Center Elementary, will be interim principal at the high school.
Rodney Helton, who was principal at Jones Cove Elementary, will become interim principal at New Center. Assistant Principal Chris Ogle will serve as interim principal at Jones Cove.
