Texas Mother Arrested After 2-Month-Old Daughter Found Dead in Bag of Ice

A mother who was wanted by police after her daughter was found dead inside a bag full of ice that was left in a Texas motel is now in custody.
According to arrest records on the Harris County Sheriff s Office website, Nikki Reardon was arrested on Monday, months after the body of her 2-month old daughter was found at the Scottish Inn Suites, in Baywater, in September 2020.
Officers arrived at the motel after they received an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers that the baby had died, according to ABC13. The caller also told police that the child had been dead for at least 48 hours.
