moment. working through the different aspects of their life. dr. levine, the human rights campaign has declared 2021 to be on-track for the worst year of lgbtq legislation in recent history. why are transgender americans the focal point of so much this year? i think people are using it as a wedge issue. that is precipitating some of the challenging and difficult bills in many of the states. it s hard to see the bills that target transgender youth. transgender youth are vulnerable. they re vulnerable to bullying and harassment. and you know, they need to be supported and advocated for, not to have bills and participation and activities such as sports.
