Assin South Constituency Commends Akufo-Addo For Ntim Fordjour s Nomination As Deputy Minister-designate For Education | Politics

  There was spontaneous jubilation in the entire Assin South Constituency yesterday, when the name of their Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. John Ntim Fordjour, was mentioned as a Deputy Education Minister Designate. According to the Assin South Constituency residents, Hon. Ntim Fordjour’s nomination speaks volumes of the confidence the President has reposed in him, which has resulted in his nomination  to occupy such a high-profile office as a Deputy Education Minister. They commended President Akufo-Addo and indicated emphatically that, Hon. Ntim Fordjour’s nomination is in the right direction in view of the fact that, he is hardworking and an achiever.

LGBTQI has long been held as abomination in Ghana – Ntim Fordjour

+ Assin South Lawmaker John Ntim Fordjour has said that the practice of Lesbianism, Homosexuality, and other related practices of LGBTQI has long been held as an abomination and unreservedly so detested in Ghana. He said on the floor of Parliament that the concept of family for Ghanaians has always been and will always be initiated by marriage between a man and woman. “Mr Speaker, grounded on shared values of respect, dignity, equity and morality, Human Rights exist for every human being and, are exercised within the context of the law. Article 11 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana posits that the laws of Ghana shall comprise the Constitution, legislation, subsidiary legislation, existing laws before the 1992 Constitution and common law. Article 11 further explains common law as the customary law of the land.
