All live updates will be posted here as results come in. April 21 12:44 p.m. Runoff election ballot packages being mailed out Anchorage residents should expect to receive a ballot package in the mail next week for the mayoral runoff election on May 11. The municipal clerk’s office issued a press release stating the elections team will be mailing out around 223,000 ballot packages on Wednesday. The release said voters could anticipate their ballot packages in their mailbox by April 28.

April 16 5 p.m. Updated results show no change to election leaders Race leaders in the Anchorage Municipal Election are still holding steady according to newly updated unofficial election results from the Municipal Clerk’s Office. Dave Bronson still leads the mayoral race, and he and candidate Forrest Dunbar are likely headed for a May 11 runoff. The April 6 election is set to be certified on April 20.

For school board seat B, Lessens has 24,454 votes to opponent Judy Eledge’s 24,179 votes. Lessens’ lead grew on Tuesday, she was leading by 275 votes, compared to 92 on Monday. For school board seat E, Higgins has 20,651 votes to Sami Graham’s 20,237 votes. Higgins was leading Graham by 414 votes Tuesday, compared to 374 votes Monday.
