Now, governor Ron Desantis has declared a State Of Emergency for 51 counties ahead of and it could bring devastating Storm Surge to parts of the state still recovering from Hurricane Helene. Cnns Rafael Romo joins me. Now, Rafael Helene slammed into florida just ten days ago. I know you were on the ground covering some of its devastation. Can you tell us what were learning now ahead of this potential impact here yes, some are high. This is probably going to feel like a onetwo punch for many floridians in addition to we clearing a State Of Emergency and 51 states, florida governor Ron Desantis has ordered Management Sites to be opened 24 7, so that many areas covered by debris after Hurricane Helene
Helene made landfall, and governor Ron Desantis is warning people in the Hurricanes Path take this storm serious so please keep an eye on this storm theres a bit the greater cone covers almost the entire West Coast of florida at this point. And so even if youre not in the cone as it gets closer, certainly if youre on the dirty side of the storm, theres going to be surge that goes outside the cone thats going to be significant. So just prepare for that and understand that something that is likely to happen just moments ago, florida Officials Evacuation orders as soon as tomorrow and just one county is Tracking Milton for us. So what are you seeing as far as its path and where its protect projected to bring here i mean, were worried about it rapidly intensifying. Again.
