Opposition parties have announced their protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) if the government enforces it in the state of Guwahati. They have formed a 16-party United Opposition Forum (UOF) Assam and plan to send a memorandum to the President demanding to scrap the CAA.
