Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Sep. 24 (EMN): An open futsal tournament organised by Amigos Club on the theme “Peace and Unity Through” got underway at Fazl Ali College (FAC) ground, Chuchuyimpang village under Mokokchng district on September 23. Senior journalist Aso Imsong, who was the guest speaker at the tourney, said the youth should give importance to games and sports as there are platforms available today for the talented youths if they are determined to pursue it as a career. Stating that even Telungjem FC from Mokokchung reached the national-level to represent Nagaland in Hero Futsal Club Championship 2021 in Delhi, he encouraged the players not be discouraged with failure but channelise it into positive energy to achieve one’s goal. Altogether 24 teams are participating in the tourney, out of which two teams are from Tuensang district. Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Aug. 30 (EMN): President BJP Mokokchung District, Imolemba Jamir, on Tuesday said he respects the high command’s decision on seat-sharing between NDPP and BJP in the 2023 Nagaland assembly election.
