Enforcement officials handed 70 tickets last week, the most since Jan. 11-17 when they dolled out 77.
It is a big jump over the previous three weeks, which were also trending up. For May 3-9 there were 60 tickets written.

For last week, 62 of the tickets were of the $1,296 variety, including two small businesses in Portage La Prairie (JK Shuttle and PB Shuttle), 53 were for gathering at residences or outdoors, six tickets were for a failure to self-isolate and there was one ticket for unnecessary northern travel.
