Photo by Nick Brancaccio /Windsor Star Article content After years of complaints about deplorable housing conditions around its university, Windsor appears headed towards a rental housing licensing pilot project requiring regular inspections. The pilot project would run in Wards 1 and 2, which contain the main campuses of St. Clair College and the University of Windsor ground zero for a litany of problems associated with stuffing as many students as possible into single-family homes. It’s the favoured option among the four being presented to council on Monday, as councillors once again attempt to tackle an issue fraught with emotion.
