After much wait, the trailer of Family Man 2 was released by the makers earlier this week. Instantly, the trailer received much love from the audience and the leads Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni were appreciated for their intriguing performance. Fans also noticed late actor Asif Basra in the trailer. The late actor will be seen playing the character of a marriage counsellor in the web show. Asif makes an appearance in the latter half of the trailer in a comic scene with Bajpayee.

The late actor can be seen in the recently released trailer of the Amazon Prime Video show, which also stars South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni. In it, Basra played a marriage counsellor who works with Srikant (Bajpayee’s character) and his wife.
“You are missed so badly by the entire team of #thefamilyman my friend!! Stay happy and peaceful wherever you are,” wrote Bajpayee on Instagram, reposting an image first shared by ‘The Family Man’ directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.

Filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have remembered late actor Asif Basra, whose final screen appearance will be in the second season of their show The Family Man .
Basra, known for his scene-stealing acts in movies such as Jab We Met , Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and Kai Po Che! , was found hanging in a private complex in McLeodganj, Dharamshala in November last year. He was 53.
