Date Time Big boost for local businesses looking to grow in Asian market McGowan Government announces 18 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that will share in more than $174,000 to empower them to enter key Asian markets Funding part of State Government’s Asian Engagement Strategy designed to help WA businesses create jobs by diversifying trade in priority industry sectors Grants will help support jobs and diversify the local economy A number of emerging Western Australian businesses have received a significant boost with the McGowan Labor Government announcing $174,000 to help them expand into Asian markets. The businesses will each receive up to $10,000 from the second round of the Access Asia Business Grants to build and maintain competitiveness in Asian markets and contribute to WA’s economic recovery from COVID-19.
