Mangaluru, May 22: Ganesh Kelagina Beedu Shenoy who hails from Mangaluru, has entered acclaimed Golden Book of World Records for his artwork Most miniature paintings on a paper sheet .
He painted 1156 miniature paintings on a small paper card measuring 17 cm X 17 cm, and each miniature painting measures 0.5 cm X 0.5 cm using color pencils and acrylic colors.
Last year, Ganesh Shenoy had set a world record through World Record Certification Limited, UK for his miniature paintings. In 2019, he had broken both Asia Record and India Record with his 1029 miniature paintings on an A4 size paper sheet and had entered Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.

Annamalai Rajendran, the 34-year-old software engineer who achieved this feat, told ANI, A hobby which started 10 years ago to maintain work-life balance soon turned out to be a passion as I get to know more about other countries and their traditions. I collected most of my banknotes through friends and numismatic auctions.
