Many beauty queens love to donate to charities and some are heavily involved, donating time, money, and gifts.
But it’s a different story when these queens risked their lives for humanitarian efforts.
Take the case of the queens of the Queen of Hearts Foundation led by its founder Mitzie Go-Gil whose team composed of reigning and past queens were non-stop in giving love and care to the people at the height of the pandemic in 2020.

“There is joy in the act of giving when it is done with pure motives. We embrace this saying and we are genuinely happy to help poor families especially children. We may not have given much but what we give away came from our hearts,” said Go-Gil in an interview during her foundation’s second anniversary held in Quezon City recently.
