That’s why on Saturday the Chinese mid-Autumn festival Peabody Heights Brewery hosted the first of a series of events called Night Market Untapped that will celebrate Asian culture and feature local Asian American-owned businesses.
The Howard County Fair Association says it was unaware that Saturday’s Asia Collective Night Market was expected to draw 25,000 attendees until the day of the event.
While the event was permitted for 25,000, the Howard County Police Department said that “far more attended who were not ticketed” and that the final number of attendees is unknown.
