A COUPLE of mischievous horses were rounded up by police and helpful passers-by after hightailing it from their home. Fully in the Friday spirit, the unruly animals made a beeline for the pub in Ashurst Wood, near East Grinstead. But, with drinking holes currently closed due to lockdown laws, police were able to round the horses up and return them to their home - with the help of several good Samaritans in the village. A big thanks to all who helped round up a couple of horses that had wandered down to the pub in Ashurst Wood. Pub was closed - cue the why the long face joke - but reunited with owners.
