A woman in Mitchell is behind bars after hitting her boyfriend with her car and driving off, according to court documents.
Brittany Ashton Price, 32, from Mitchell, was arrested at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mitchell after authorities found her boyfriend in a ditch earlier that morning, according to court documents. He had been hit by a car.
Price’s 25-year-old boyfriend was found around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning in a ditch near 254th Street, according to court documents. He was found without a shirt and his pants partially off. Multiple pools of blood led to where he was found.
When visiting his residence, authorities discovered a black 2007 Dodge Charger with damage to the front passenger bumper and a crack in the windshield with hair in it. The car was registered to Price, according to court documents.
