250 destitute families get PM’s gifts in Khulna 215 KHULNA, Apr 7, 2021(BSS) – A total of 250 destitute poor families of all unions in Batiaghata upazila of Khulna district today received greetings and gifts from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Maintaining social distance and health guidelines, Khulna deputy commissioner and district magistrate Md Helal Hossain distributed the gifts at Jalma Union under Batiaghata upazila in the district, said a press release issued by assistant commissioner Debashish Basak. Deputy commissioner Md Helal Hossain said as part of the countrywide gift distribution programme, at least 250 jobless, destitute people were given “Mujib Barso” gifts ahead of the holy Ramadan, the release added.
