Prince William labelled hypocrite for not defending Meghan Markle from racist abuse Entertainment Tue, Feb 02, 2021 Prince William is getting called out by social media users after his recent statement against racism in English football. Social media users labelled the Duke of Cambridge a hypocrite for keeping mum when his sister-in-law Meghan Markle endured racist attacks by the media but speaking up years later for athletes. William, who is the president of the Football Association, issued a statement on Twitter regarding racism. He said: Racist abuse whether on the pitch, in the stands, or on social media is despicable and it must stop now. We all have a responsibility to create an environment where such abuse is not tolerated, and those who choose to spread hate and division are held accountable for their actions.”

That man was Lennox Lewis, it was the night before Tyson Fury humiliated Deontay Wilder. Lewis was just relaxing, thinking and looking in front of men wearing hard hats and building the ring. He was big, big for Fury when he stopped to talk to me.

The panellists were Brent-based figures including boxer Ashley Theophane, Boney M singer Liz Mitchell, headteacher Danny Coyle, youth and community manager Deji Adeoshun and psychotherapist Martina Jean-Jacques. Audience members fed in their questions to the speakers and panellists. Everyone welcomed the plan but there were challenges about creating more community-owned spaces, sustainability and accountability of the action plan as well as providing the community with the adequate resources.

Eggington lost a razor thin decision to Ted Cheeseman last time out, while Theophane was most definitely in the twilight of his career at 40, and with wins over journeymen littering his recent career. Eggington stalked his man in the opening round, and dominated without exerting himself too much. The end of the second round saw Eggington score a knockdown, a an off balance Theophane was driven back towards the ropes by an Eggington right hand, and with only the ropes holding him up, the count was administered.
